But particularly, the most fantastic garden in Italy – in Italy but definitely not Italian in style – is in Ischia and it’s named La Mortella, created and daily cared for by Lady Susana Walton with the excellent help of Alessandra Vinciguerra.
For plant lovers, the best period to visit Ischia is during May 22nd, 23rd and 24th when not only can you visit La Mortella but in addition, the Ipomea del Negombo takes place, a flower show organised at Negombo, one of the most fascinating spa complexes on the island.
